The Ford Mobility Motoring program contributes money to offset the price of vehicle modifications for drivers with disabilities.
Since 1992, Ford has helped more than 260,000 people with disabilities modify their cars to allow them the freedom that comes with being able to drive. The Ford Mobility Motoring program gives up to $1,000 to reimburse mobility modifications on any new Ford. Maryland’s Dave and Rachel Ablondi used the money for a wheelchair lift for their Transit, to help their son, Andrew, who suffered complications from cerebral bleeding. “I know a lot of families like ours have trouble affording—or even finding—an accessible vehicle,” says Rachel. “We took the installation receipt and brought it to our Ford salesperson. He took care of the rest.” Learn more about the program at FordMobilityMotoring.com.
