What does it take to tackle California’s Nitto King of the Hammers, one of the world’s most grueling off-road races? Formula Drift champ Vaughn Gittin Jr. answers this question with one word: Brocky. That’s what he calls his Ford Bronco–style buggy built in Colorado by the automotive specialists at Jimmy’s 4x4.

Watch the video to see Brocky in action.

Brocky was custom-made specifically to traverse the intense Nitto King of the Hammers terrain, which includes demanding boulder canyon climbs combined with swift desert stretches that can leave lesser vehicles in pieces. Nitto Tire Trail Grapplers and American Racing wheels help Brocky grip the road. Front and rear cameras allow Gittin to spot trouble before it starts. And a great suspension system keeps Brocky stable. “We’re ready to rock!” Gittin says. Literally.
