You picked the right location to shoot...my grandfather was one of the original homesteaders that tamed a small part of the Badlands...I have old B&W photos of me as a lad growing up down there across the White River from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation..He is buried @ Interior near the Cedar Pass Lodge. I was a cook @ Cedar Pass Lodge during summers of High School. My wife drives a Ford Explorer, and I drive the F-150...however, she & I now live in Tampa, Fl...not an antelope or prairie dog in sight....go figure!
